By Air
Cotonou Cadjèhoun Airport (COO) receives direct flights from Paris CDG (Air France, daily, 6h20), Casablanca (Royal Air Maroc, 4h), Abidjan, and Accra. The airport is 10 minutes from the city centre.

Zémidjan (Moto-Taxi)
The fastest way to move through Cotonou’s traffic. Thousands of motorcycle taxis operate 24/7. Agree price before boarding (200–500 XOF for most city trips). Always wear the helmet provided.

Yellow Taxis
Shared yellow taxis run fixed routes through the city at low cost. For private hire, negotiate the price before entering. Google Maps helps you know routes — useful for fare negotiation.

Chauffeured Car

For Ganvié and the lake village circuit, pirogues depart from the Abomey-Calavi lakeside — 20 minutes from the city centre. Our tours include private pirogue hire for the best experience.
