The Tata Somba are traditional dwellings in northern Benin. They are classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are endowed with remarkable architecture unique to the world. The architecture is based on two levels. The first level is for livestock and cooking equipment, while the second level serves as a dormitory and drying area for food products.
